Info for schools

James has been speaking in Primary and Secondary schools throughout the World for over a decade and his enthusiastic and energetic style has inspired thousands of children from ages 4-18 years.

His values of kindness, resilience and never giving up as well as his love of the places he has visited are popular with schools.  James’ messages link to many schools internal values as well as connecting with learning topics as varied as The Frozen Kingdom, Explorers, Up, Up and Away, Rainforests and Mountains for example.

What to expect

Primary Schools

Separate assemblies for KS1 and KS2 between 30 and 60 minutes (depending on the age of the children).  Additional, smaller breakout groups of approximately 40-45 minutes can be included in a full day for children to be interactive with explorer kit, ask questions and gain more insight into James’ expeditions.

Secondary Schools

Assemblies with a focus on resilience, goal setting, motivation and having a strong mindset are popular for pupils in Keys Stages 3&4 as they approach a more formal education structure and exams.

James is currently on a National school tour – please email tanya@jamesketchell.net for more information, cost and availability, or click here for bookings.
