We’re setting off tomorrow!

Hi everyone, Things have been going really well out here in Gran Canaria and I’m now pleased to report that we have a departure date and time to share with you. Anthony and myself will be leaving Puerto de Mogán at 12pm UTC this Monday 1st February. It will be a surreal day for me because exactly two years ago (on 1st February 2014), I returned home after cycling 18,000 miles around the world, a day that I will never forget. I had no idea that I would be taking a pedalo across the Atlantic two years later! Charlie and Richard from Rannoch Adventure have now left and are driving the support vehicles and rib back to the UK. Almost time to Pedalo across the Atlantic!

Hi everyone, Well here is the first blog from Gran Canaria, and I’m pleased to report that everything is going well… although I was a little worried when I received a text message from Iberia, telling me that one of my bags had been taken off the plane as the aircraft was overloaded. Thankfully, it was delivered to our apartment this afternoon, so I can now take a shower and put some clean clothes on! Although Anthony is coming out to join me at the week-end, I am not on my own. I have a great team of people with me at the moment, my good friend and cameraman Ian, and Richard from Rannoch Adventure. I need to say a big thanks to Richard as he left the UK six days ago, towing the boat through Europe and using numerous ferries to get the boat here in Puerto De Morgan. […]
